Well, after all this time, here it is: the last episode of Winnie-the-Pooh! And out of all the audio dramas I've ever worked on this one was definitely the most fun. All the actors who played the main characters were just great for their parts, and it was so fun to direct them as they acted. Also, in terms of sound design this production is right up there at the very top out of all the the productions I've produced. So this one is definitely my favorite!
In this final episode, Piglet finds himself surrounded my water, and makes a brave attempt to get help; also, we later attend a party for Pooh Bear ... or was it Eeyore? ... I forget.

In the third episode of Quick & Flupke, Quick causes all kinds of trouble when he learns to use a lasso, Flupke gets bullied by a bigger boy, and Quick volunteers to watch someone's car for a minute with disastrous results! All this and much, much more in this week's episode of Quick & Flupke!

QUICK & FLUPKE #3: PRANKS AND JOKES Starring Aaron Thiessen and Levi Coates
CTD Productions is now proud to present to you the third episode of "Winnie-the-Pooh" adapted from the original book by A. A. Milne. In this episode we meet Kanga and Roo for the first time, but Rabbit, Piglet and Pooh aren't too sure about them. Later, Christopher Robin organizes an "Expotition" to find the North Pole, with hilarious results.

Well, after nearly three years CTD Productions finally presents to you another episode featuring that rascally duo, Quick & Flupke. In this episode Quick thinks there's a gas leak in his house, Officer 15 goes sledding, Flupke eats a pear, and well, too many things for me to talk about. Just listen to the episode and you shall find out all. Also, in this episode be on the lookout for a character from a different audio drama who makes a cameo appearance.

WINNIE-THE-POOH #2: HEFFALUMPS AND BIRTHDAYS Starring Philip Thiessen
Winnie-the-Pooh was written by British author and poet A. A. Milne in 1926. Milne was born in London in the late 19th century and during the Great War joined as an officer in the British Army. Although he wrote many books and plays (including a detective novel, The Red House Mystery) he is best remembered for his books about the adorable bear named Winnie-the-Pooh. This delightful character was first introduced to readers in the poem "Teddy Bear" (from the book of poetry, When We Were Very Young), in which he is called "Edward Bear". The boy Christopher Robin was based on Milne's real-life son; and all the animals are based on the toys he would play with. After the success of the first book, Milne published a sequel, The House at Pooh Corner, in 1928. Both books have been loved by millions of readers the world over ever since; and more recently, the estate of A. A. Milne authorised an official sequel to the classics: Return to the Hundred Acre Wood, written by David Benedictus (with illustrations by Mark Burgess), and published October 5th of this year.
No doubt many will be most familiar with the Disney interpretation of Winnie-the-Pooh, which has become quite commercialized, but how many have actually read the original stories? E. H. Shepard, the illustrator of the original books, called Disney's Winnie-the-Pooh a travesty. And indeed the movies have lost much of the wonderful magic of the books.
For the past year CTD Productions has been busy working on it's own adaptation of the first book. It has now been completed, and we hope you will enjoy it. BUT.... if you are expecting the voices to resemble the Disney version, you will most likely be disappointed. However, our voices are true to the way the characters are described in the book. For instance, in the books Pooh is said to have "a growly voice", and Piglet's voice is described many times as "high-pitched and squeaky" (very different from the soft-spoken Piglet in the Disney films). If you have not read the original stories, I would suggest you find one of the books and read several stories before you listen to our production.
Anyway, now that that's all been said, CTD Productions is very proud to present to you the first episode of A. A. Milne's classic book Winnie-the-Pooh!
WINNIE-THE-POOH #1: THE STORIES BEGIN Starring Philip Thiessen
Some of you may have been wondering if I was ever going to get Winnie-the-Pooh on the blog. But yes, it's finally coming! You'll be able to listen to the first episode next Saturday [which, incidentally, is Halloween .... and no, I didn't plan it that way - seeing as how Pooh Bear has nothing to do with Halloween.... But at least it'll give you something pleasant to listen to while the rest of the world is out scaring themselves silly]; and after that there'll be a new episode posted each week until all four are out. So to give you something else to listen to until then; I've put together a short promo for episode one of A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh. Listen below.

First off I would like to say, "The rumours surrounding my death have been greatly exaggerated". :D Okay, okay, I know it's been like forever since I posted anything. But it's not because I've been lazy (well, maybe just a little)... anyway, I wanted to let you know that we do have some new productions coming up within the next month.
